Team Leader, at a Management level, project Manager ensuring service levels are maintained, highly IT focused not business focused although a component of it is. It is situated in a Capital Markets area of a Major Bank in Downtown Toronto. The incumbent will be leading a team that supports Foreign Exchange and Precious Metals trading applications. Several years of experience working and maintaining in-house or vendor-based trading systems such as Wall Street or Murex is a must. IS A MUST! The incumbent must have an excellent working knowledge in the following operating systems and technologies: Sun Solaris, Sun hardware, NIS, DNS, LDAP, NFS, Weblogic,WebSphere application server, WebSphere MQ, and Veritas products (Volume Manager, File System, Netbackup, Clustering), monitoring tools, shell scripting, and Tidal Job Scheduler would be an asset). With working knowledge of the following databases is an asset: Oracle, Sybase. With working knowledge of LAN/WAN environments and protocols. This position requires a minimum of 5 years job related experience and possesses analytical and proactive problem solving skills. Expert understanding in area of specialty. Ability to work with non-technical users. 85 to 90K Maximum Base Salary 4 weeks Holidays. |
